A preshaped, helmet-compatible hood, powder skirt, and Lycra wrist gaiters all help block out the snow, so you can focus on the skin up and scout out your run. If you start to work up a sweat, simply unzip the two-way underarm vents to cool you off. The Alyeska's articulated elbows and regular fit also provide plenty of unrestricted movement when you need to rappel down into a chute.
